EDITORIAL CISNE ALBUM CISNE COLECCION DE 120 CROMOS SERIE 13 #3 BALONCESTO (SPAIN)
Editorial Cisne was founded in Barcelona, Spain and operated from 1935 to 1946. They were known for producing highly popular paperback books and were a pioneer in commercial cromos (card) albums, publishing many historical, cultural, and soccer albums. Their 1942 Album Cisne featured 120 cards of variety of subjects broken into different series. The sports series #13 consisted of 6 cards with card #3 featuring basketball. The cards appear to be either manually or hand-cut as there is notable black border at each corner and they aren't 100% uniform in size. I do not know how these cards were distributed, the paper stock has a newspaper feel to it.
