FIGURITAS PONY BASQUETBOL DISC #75 OSCAR FURLONG (ARGENTINA)
There is very little information out there about this rare set of discs from Figuritas Pony. From what I can gather, there were a few different editions and albums of Pony released by different companies. I’ve also been told that this version is quite rare and featured a variety of sports. This card features Argentinian basketball legend and FIBA hall of famer Oscar Furlong. There are supposedly a total of 11 basketball cards in the set, the complete number of discs is unknown. The Pony releases were marketed with prizes for those that collected all the carboard discs. They could win prizes like a soccer ball, doll, radios, bicycles, and even two real actual ponies were awarded (hence the name of the set).
Measurements: 2” in diameter.
